Home and Community Connections is seeking a Program Manager to join our team for our Individual Options Program – supporting people who are living independently, or with family. This position involves a combination of supervision, administrative, direct support and on-call responsibilities, along with being responsible for managing the day to day operations of individual supports. Excellent organizational and leadership skills, teaching/instructional ability, good communication skills, patience, ability to effectively prioritize and manage time. There are on call weekends approximately every 3 weekends.

Minimum of two years’ experience in direct care to persons with developmental disabilities or related field.  Undergraduate degree in human service field or education preferred – direct care and administrative experience may be substituted for education requirement. Supervision experience preferred. WITH THIS POSTION THERE IS A NEED FOR DAILY DRIVING, Chicopee, South Hadley, Ware, Palmer, Monson and Holyoke. Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable transportation required with 2 years positive driving history. Basic computer skills (Windows/internet) & ability to safely lift 25 pounds required.

HOURS:  Full time, salaried (exempt) position including on-call, evening, and direct care responsibilities.

LIFTING REQUIREMENTS: Ability to safely lift 25 pounds is required.
