Community Coordinator, 22 to 27 hours per week (hours may start lower and build up, depending on needs of the person hired and/or the community). Support the re-establishment of a resource center in Pittsfield, and work collaboratively with the County Coordinator and others in the community to build supports at and beyond the center space. Responsibilities will include community organizing, direct peer-to-peer support, group facilitation, outreach and administrative tasks relevant to supporting and overseeing a center and other related activities.

Personal experience living through trauma, psychiatric diagnosis, homelessness, addiction and/or a variety of other life challenges required. Access to a reliable vehicle that you are able to use for work purposes preferred. Bilingual/Bicultural (English/Spanish) a big plus! Understanding and commitment to examining and healing systemic oppression related to racism, gender, psychiatric diagnosis, etc., a must! Relevant trainings (Intentional Peer Support, Certified Peer Specialist, Alternatives to Suicide, etc.) a plus. AA/EOE.
