Director, Wild Ivy Social Justice Network, 30 hrs per week: This role represents a combination of oversight and Latinx Community Connector responsibilities. Responsibilities will include a statewide focus on outreach, bridge building, and involvement of the voice of people of Hispanic or Latin heritage who have also faced emotional distress, trauma, problems with substances, and/or other life-interrupting challenges in public policy development and more. This role will include at least some support group facilitation, individual support, event planning, working with legislators and others involved in public policy, and more. The Director role will also include oversight responsibilities such as meeting facilitation, supervision, and contract management. The pay range for this role is $22.00 to $24.00 per hour based on experience and completion of core trainings. For the right candidate, there is potential for this to be combined with the Community Supports Coordinator role to create a 40 hour position.

Requirements: Given the peer-to-peer nature of our work, applicants must be bilingual (English/Spanish), and of Hispanic or Latin heritage in order to be considered for this position. They must also identify as having first-hand experience with trauma, psychiatric diagnosis, extreme states, problems with substances, homelessness, and/or other life-interrupting challenges. Demonstrated leadership skills, and ability to navigate the Internet, e-mail, and on-line meeting platforms also required.

Strongly Preferred: Some experience with peer support, group and/or training facilitation, public speaking, as well as some management and/or supervisory experience are strongly preferred.

A Plus: Translation experience (English to Spanish), and Intentional Peer Support, Hearing Voices, Anti-Oppression, and/or Alternatives to Suicide training are a plus.
