Job Information


County Coordinator with the Western Mass RLC: 30 to 34 hours per week, based in Franklin County. Responsibilities to include Community Coordinator role in Franklin County (facilitating groups, peer support in center, supervising Advocates, etc.), as well as county development in Franklin and Berkshire Counties (supporting the Berkshire Community Coordinator, event development, outreach and networking, etc.). May also include group facilitation in Hampshire County as applicable. $17 to 18.50 per hour (dependent upon training and bilingual capabilities).

Required: First-hand experience with psychiatric diagnosis, trauma, homelessness, problems with substances, and/or other life-interrupting challenges. (This means you yourself have experienced problems like psychiatric hospitalization, living without a home, etc.); A car that you can use consistently for work; Commitment to undoing racism, sexism, and other systemic oppression; Flexibility in your schedule including to work some night and weekend hours; At least two years’ relevant experience with peer-to-peer supports.

Preferred: Some leadership/supervisory experience; Training in Intentional Peer Support, Alternatives to Suicide, and/or Hearing Voices; Substantial knowledge of Franklin and/or Berkshire county resources and systems; Bilingual/bicultural (English/Spanish or English/ASL).
