Per-Diem COVID Test Coordinator, CNA/CMA

Home and Community Connections, a program of the Consortium, is currently seeking a Per-diem COVID Test Coordinator (up to 10-12) hours a week to assist with self-administered nasal COVID testing for employees. Training and supervision will be provided from our medical support team.

Home and Community Connections provides residential and community support to adults with ranging intellectual and physical support needs. Its mission is to provide innovative and individualized support that eliminates barriers and empowers individuals to live the lives they choose.

Duties Include:

  • Prep and set up of COVID tests and related documentation
  • Create a welcoming, comfortable environment for employees who come to test
  • Assist with checking in and registering employees for testing
  • Assist with having employees watch the step by step testing video
  • Observe employee while they self-administer their test and offer guidance to ensure best testing practice
  • Follow Home & Community Connections policies and procedures as they relate to testing
  • Maintain confidentiality and HIPPA compliance
  • Perform duties and activities which contribute to safe and efficient delivery of testing support.

Education Requirements:  Valid CNA or CMA license/certification

Other Requirements:

  • Familiarity with current CDC guidance regarding use of PPE and universal precautions
  • Familiarity with current COVID testing procedures with regard to self-administered nasal swab tests
  • A commitment toward social justice and a sense of belonging
  • Must have a valid Massachusetts Driver’s License, two years positive driving history, and reliable transportation.
  • A basic competency in computer skills which include navigating windows based programs and the internet.
  • LIFTING REQUIREMENTS: Ability to safely lift 25 pounds is required.
