Wildflower Alliance

The Franklin County/Greenfield Advocate and Per Diem Advocates offer support and group facilitation in our Greenfield Community Center and Montague group space. They work with fellow team members and the community to care for and maintain the space, and support the growth and facilitation of the community.

Required Qualifications:

  • Investment in the value of peer support and alternatives to conventional clinical systems.
  • Ability to balance a variety of needs in an active center.
  • Personal experience living through trauma, psychiatric diagnosis, homelessness, problems with substances, and/or other life-interrupting challenges.
  • Understanding and commitment to examining and undoing systemic oppression related to racism, gender, psychiatric diagnosis, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Established residence in Franklin County and familiarity with local resources.
  • Experience offering peer support and familiarity with peer support values and approaches.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/ASL) / Bicultural.
  • Familiarity with c/s/x, mad, peer, recovery, and/or human rights movements.
  • Intentional Peer Support, and/or other relevant trainings (Hearing Voices, Alternatives to Suicide, etc.).
  • Familiarity with harm reduction approaches.
Advocate

Schedule: 10-18 hours per week

Advocate Pay Rate Range: $19 to $21 per hour, based on completion of core trainings and bilingual/bicultural experience (English/Spanish or English/ASL).

Per Diem Advocates

Schedule: Fill in as needed when team members are on vacation, out sick, etc.

Per Diem Pay Rate: $18 to $19 per hour
