PROGRAM MANAGER

 Home and Community Connections is seeking a Program Manager to join our team for our Holyoke home – supporting people who are in our 24 Hour Supports Model.

This position involves a combination of supervision, administrative, direct care and on-call responsibilities, and is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of residential support to assigned individuals.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills,
  • Teaching/instructional ability,
  • Good communication skills,
  • Patience,
  • Ability to work under time/demand pressure,
  • Flexibility,
  • Willingness to accept high levels of responsibility.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in direct care to persons with developmental disabilities or related field.
  • Valid Massachusetts driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation required with 3 years positive driving history.
  • Basic computer skills (Windows/internet)
  • Ability to safely lift 25 pounds required.
  • Must be MAP Certified.

PREFERRED:

  • An undergraduate degree in human service field or education – direct care and administrative experience may be substituted for education requirement.
  • Supervision experience
