The Consortium is hiring for a Full Time Program Manager.  The Program Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of residential supports to assigned individuals. The Program Manager plans, implements, coordinates, and evaluates direct services to individuals. This position is a combination of direct care and administrative responsibilities. The Program Manager is responsible for the safety and well-being of individuals supported.  The position reports to the Program Director.

Responsibilities: Providing leadership and vision through team meetings, training, development, supervision and evaluation of staff, problem resolution, and decision-making. Ensuring individuals’ finances are handled appropriately and documented accurately. Ensure compliance with Consortium policies and procedures and DDS regulations. Coordinating and continually expanding the range of supports an individual receives including social network, community membership and resources, specialized support services, etc. Ensuring excellent medical care through coordination of medical, dental and clinical needs including required documentation. Ensuring complete implementation of the DDS Healthcare Initiative. Participate in the Individual Support Plan (ISP) process, including preparing and submitting assessments within required timelines, attending meetings, and advocating for individual desires. The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring that ISP objectives are worked on consistently, and monthly progress notes are completed. Scheduling includes the development of monthly and master staff schedules. Maintaining an appropriate staffing pattern within the current allocated hours. Informing the Program Coordinator immediately of a change in the needs of individuals supported. Develop a relief pool that is appropriately trained.
Requirements: Certification in the Massachusetts Medication Administration program (MAP).  A valid Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable transportation is required. One-year positive driving history is required to drive people supported. The ability to safely transport individuals supported is essential. A basic competency in computer skills which include navigating windows-based programs and the internet. Undergraduate degree in the human service field or education. Direct care and administrative experience may be substituted for education requirements. Minimum of (2) years’ experience in direct care to persons with developmental disabilities or related field preferred. Supervision experience preferred.
